Bobby Thurman Dixon

Bobby "Bob" Thurman Dixon Jr., 68, of May, Texas passed away, Saturday, January 29, 2022. The family is planning a family memorial service at a later date. Bob was born February 27, 1953 in Gatesville, Texas to Bobby Sr. and Ruby Dixon. He attended Stephenville High School and married Debra Wilson in 1987 and their union blessed him with 5 children. Bob loved to be with and take care of his many animals. He especially loved his dog, Funny Face. You would see them around town together and Bob was proud to know everyone and made friends everywhere he went. Most importantly Bob loved his wife and kids. Being married to his best friend for 35 years was his perfect happiness. He loved his family and when the opportunity to be with his kids and grandkids presented itself, he would jump at the chance. He enjoyed watching their sporting events and school functions, but his favorite was sitting in the floor playing cars and trucks with them. Bob is survived by his wife, Debra Dixon of May; daughter, Sherri Ludwig and husband Joel of Dublin; sons, Ricky Dixon of May, Chris and wife Amber Dixon of Leander, Jeff and wife Jennifer Lowery of Dublin and Mickle Lowery of Stephenville; his good friend, Kevin Kitchens of Stephenville; brothers, Sammy Blackwell and wife Earlene Towers & Johnney Blackwell and wife, Melissa; 13 grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and friends.
