Elida G. Lopez

Elida “Lily” G. (Laureles) Lopez, 65 of Bangs, TX passed away on Monday, June 15, 2020. A memorial service will be at 10 AM, Saturday, June 20, 2020 in the Heartland Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by David Galindo. The family would like to invite guests to meet at Elida’s brothers house, George Laureles, 155 Sherwood Dr. Brownwood, Texas after the Memorial for a meal. Lily was born October 24, 1954 at Amherst TX, to Francisco and Rafela Laureles. She attended school at Brady High School. Elida was a very godly, women who know no stranger. She brought joy to every person she came across. She loved many things, cooking, bingo, traveling and shopping. Elida's greatest accomplishment was her three children. Elida is survived by her eldest daughter, Morning Glory Garza and spouse, Billy Holt; her only son, Samuel E. Lopez III; youngest daughter, Brittany and son-in-law Samuel Haechten; brother, George Laureles; sister, Janie Moreno; and many dear aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that called her aunt Lily. Elida was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Frank Laureles & Leon Laureles; sisters, Mary Garcia & Sally Bara.
