Juanita Rosalie NeSmith, 72 of Abilene, passed away on Tuesday, September 8, 2020. Rosalie was born May 24, 1948 in Brownwood to Nolan and Marie Fields. She attended Brownwood High School and went to Beauty school, working as a Beautician in her early years. Rosalie married Bill NeSmith in 1978 and enjoyed getting to ride and work with him. She was a phenomenal grandmother who knew how to cook and spoil grandkids. Rosalie was a prayer warrior and enjoyed serving the lord in different Baptist Churches depending on where they were at as they traveled. Rosalie is survived by her children, Shain Burks and wife Angie of Abilene; Laura Wortman and husband Brian of Bentonville, Arkansas; Aunt, Fay Nell and husband, Travis Holamon of Bangs; Granchildren, Amanda Kenny, Candace Burks, Aaron Rosell, Bo NeSmith, Peyton Rosell and numerous great grandchildren. Rosalie was preceded in death by her husband, Bill NeSmith; her parents; a brother, Benjamin Fields and daughter, April Burks.
